Dripping Springs is an Austin suburb. The family friendly Ultimate Louisiana Party is a moveable feast of the best of Louisiana’s music, food and culture. What started out 4 years ago in Austin as a one-day event has now grown into 2-days of local, regional, and national touring acts on multiple stages.
Events feature music, spoken word performances, artists and artisans, as well as purveyors and vendors of various types of merchandise and food. These parties also raise awareness for various local charities, such as the Music Business Institute of New Orleans, the Endangered Media Species Project and Mercy Centers Organization

The Ultimate Louisiana Mardi Gras Party announces its 5th Baton Rouge Mardi Gras Festival which is held in conjunction with the 36th Spanish Town Parade. This Mardi Gras Parade is Baton Rouge’s largest attracting 250,000 people each year. The Festival showcases live bands & Krewes and features: a Vendor Village, art exhibits and delicious food. Headlining the Festival is one of Louisiana’s favorite bands, Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor. vent is FREE to the public.

FREE ADMISSION – Annual Event. Founded in 2000, Krewe du Lac is the Official Krewe of Kemah, TX. In addition to their own events, they participate in both weekends of Mardi Gras! Galveston Krewe du Lac is a nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to promote the cultural, educational and traditional customs of Mardi Gras. Krewe participants are dedicated to creating a family-oriented "hometown" Mardi Gras celebration in Kemah and participate in other community-oriented events such as their Annual Christmas Toy Drive .
